Date night with the boyfriend often means a nice dining experience, a glass or two of bubbles and dressing up (so, everyday can be a date, however, date nights are the occasions where you bother dressing up and fine dine and wine)!
I absolutely love date night and fortunately for me, my significant other shares the same interest in good food and fashion.
Last night we dined at Galileo (Observatory Hotel, Sydney), French cuisine, headed by a Japanese chef so there are some Asian influence present. Galileo is good as it offers a different degustation menu on a seasonal basis so you can come every season and experience something different! The degustation offers an 8 course meal for $128 per person (excluding drinks). I highly recommend this venue, not so much for the food, but the ambiance and the Victorian feel of the room is definitely high on the romantic scale, oh and it's also affordable :)
