the power of five.
I think it's safe to say that I am an "Olympics Nerd".
Therefore, in honour of the upcoming (yay) London 2012 Olympics, here are some lust-have items in blue, yellow, black, green and red.
Blue: DSquared2 Shoes, Phillip Lim skirt, Stella McCartney coat and YSL arty ring
Yellow: Christopher Cane biker jacket, Giambattista Valli dress, Matthew Williamson tassel dress and Proenza Schouler PS11
Black: Fendi peek-a-boo bag, Phillip Lim leather shorts, Acne biker jacket and Junya Watanabe jacket
Green: Stella McCartney turtle neck, Matthew Williamson bag, ALC mint pants and Sonia Rykiel bow cuff
Red: Alexander McQueen ring, Alexander Wang Diego bag, Lanvin sandals and Gucci pants
I'm a tad proud of my tribute to the five Olympic rings :)

Speed of light.
Owning a piece of luxury designer item is what some would define as "lucky". As times are getting tough, and we are nearing yet another (possible) economic crisis, consumers need to be more savvy with their spending.
Purchasing a pair of designer sunglasses will take both factors into consideration; owning a piece of designer item and spending wisely!
Some astronomical/scientific facts for you;
1. The sun shines approximately 300 days in Colorado (USA)
2. During 90 days of summer, the sun shines approximately 54 days in Australia.
3. UV Rays from the sun are harmful, sunglasses helps protect your eyes from these harmful rays.
As always, these answers are from google, if you're planning on using these answers on some millionaire quiz show, I'd advise you otherwise =P
Back to the point, sunglasses are a good investment as you will utilise its full potential by wearing them almost everyday! It is by far the most valuable, practical and cheapest option to owning something designer!
If only I practice what I preach *sigh*

Be Inspired.
When pretty floral dresses are seen with pixie ankle boots and when mini skirts are worn with doc martens combat boots, you know times have changed and new age has come. What was deemed impossible, is now possible. What was seen as inappropriate, is actually now regarded as trendy.
Therefore, whoever said 6" platform pumps "has" to be worn with a pretty dress?
Here's my outfit inspiration for the day - what I would wear if I was a rich celebrity (Vic Beckham's style) on my day off going to meet the girls for lunch/day out and was spotted by the paparazzi.
Beautiful classic chic with some colour blocking accessories!
Top L-R: Charlotte Olympia pumps, Alexander Wang white shirt, Tiffany and co. ATLAS watch
Bottom L-R: Mulberry Alexa bag in green, Claudia Lobao Goldtone Druzy and Wood ring, Alexander Wang cropped boyfriend's jeans
Sigh. One can only wish....
